I’m finally back.

Been gone for two months and most people who know me would probably think I’ve been dying to come back. But I’m not. Someway somehow I’m not.

Being in China and Australia just made me feel so free. Like there wasn’t anything there holding me back. And now that I’m back, it’s like there’s an invisible pair of hands around my neck, slowly but surely cutting off the air from my lungs.

I really wish I could just up and go away forever. And I’m insanely jealous of everyone that made it overseas to study. I really am. I don’t regret not going on my parents dime and I will never regret that. But all the same I wish I were somewhere else.

I guess that being back is like diving back into reality. It’s another reminder to myself that everything’s slowly falling back to normal. Pretty soon school will start and it will all be the same shit, different day.

For someone who revels in the unexciting and the repetitive, this sure is a weird feeling.

Blogging from my dad’s new netbook here.

It’s weird but it doesn’t seem that I have much of a choice do I? Still trying to download a last minute copy of FM. Sorry, I’m an FM junkie and I need my fix okay.

Forced myself to finish reading “Under the Dome”. It’s better than “Cell” for sure. But after you trawl through like almost a thousand pages, I think there could be a way better ending than an explosion that just kills everyone. It’s just too convenient a solution to end all the problems in the town. But aside from the lame ending, I really really enjoyed the book.

Less than twelve hours to my flight.

My final exam results are out. I did okay. Oh what joy..

One more day to China. No regrets, nothing I can do about it now. Funny how I always harbour such last minute reservations after signing up for these things. At the very least, no one can call me a bum for another 17 days.

My dad is crazy. I said I wanted to bring my macbook in case everyone else sucked so I could hermit in my room and still survive. And he agrees. Then he decides to buy a netbook instead because it’s cheaper and less painful to lose and he was planning to get one for himself anyway. I guess I’m a bit annoyed because I’d rather have my macbook which has everything on it already. But who am I to argue with his logic.

I think the best part is the one month cold turkey. It’s probably what I need the most right now. Maybe I’ll wake up and finally see the reality.

I hope that it will give you hell

Dark thoughts.

In truth, I could be a lot sadder a person than I am right. I think I’ve learned to detach myself from most things in life and it’s probably a defense mechanism for myself because I’ve seen how things work out. That said, I guess there’s always time to take more risks in life. I’m beginning to feel a little dead inside, and have taken to wondering how much much I really matter in this world. Somehow, I’ve just never felt that I’ve really truly fit in. Like I’m always an outsider.

And I miss my friends. It sucks ass having exams all at different times. I’d almost rather still be studying with yabbie than to sit at home wondering what everyone else is doing. There’s so much free time I’ve almost finished reading my book, and my fingers are completely sore from trying to play “Gives you hell” by the All American Rejects. And that probably explains all my post titles of late.

2 more days to China. I have absofuckinglutely no idea what’s going to happen. I’m really hoping everything will be okay and I will at least enjoy myself.

Just dying to go Australia though.

Hmm..

First year of uni life is OVER. I’m just really, really glad it’s over. The other exam I had was pretty much okay. I wasn’t in the sem room banging my head on the paper, which is a good enough sign.

Finally reading “Under the Dome” by Stephen King. And I mean actually sitting on my bed and while the day away reading. And once you can get past the ridiculous idea of an invisible dome around a town, the book is damn intense. It’s about all the stupid shit humans will start doing once the end is neigh/there are no more consequences. I think the whole concept was abit ruined by the Simpsons movie. King must’ve watched the movie while he was still writing and thought to himself “fuuuuckkk..” Right now, I’m 500 pages in and there’s like a good half a book to go. God I how i miss reading nice long books.

Leaving for China in 3 days. And it’s all fucked up now. The trip hasn’t even begun and it feels like a disaster in the making. I don’t even need to talk to a lot of people to know that they’re dicks already. Feel like bringing my laptop so I can just nua and watch shows.

Did I mention I hate American TV? They keep doing it over and over. After one season of any one show, they take everything that took so long to come together in the first season and just throw it all away. I guess no one likes to watch happy people.
